Monmouth stuns Seton Hall for first win
Seton Hall loses to previously winless Monmouth as woeful offense continues to struggle
The Hall’s offensive struggles continued in a dismal 63-51 loss to the Hawks at Prudential Center on Saturday afternoon. Monmouth sophomore guard Abdi Bashir, who gave Rutgers 38 in a recent loss, killed The Hall with 28 points and made 6-of-9 from deep.
Monmouth (1-8) outperformed Seton Hall on the glass (34-28) and at the 3-point arc (10 for 21 vs. 5 for 21). Monmouth went 7-for-10 at the foul line and Seton Hall shot a paltry 8-for-16.
