Many NBA fans are celebrating after the Dallas Mavericks finally decided to fire former general manager Nico Harrison on Tuesday, but more details are emerging about just how bad things were getting behind the scenes for the Western Conference franchise.

The “Inside the NBA” crew discussed the biggest story in basketball this week, the dismissal of Harrison by the Mavericks.

Dallas opened a new chapter after firing GM Nico Harrison, but the result looked familiar. The Mavericks committed 21 turnovers in a 123-114 loss to the Suns despite a strong showing from rookie Cooper Flagg.

Celtics 131, Grizzlies 95: Payton Pritchard had 24 points and nine assists. He made five of the Celtics’ 21 3-pointers. Hornets 111, Bucks 100: No Giannis. No LaMelo. No Thanasis. But a lot of Hornets rookie big man Ryan Kalkbrenner, who had 17 points, nine rebounds and three blocks.

Several names have started to float around, but if you ask former NBA player Brian Scalabrine, ex-Golden State Warriors general manager Bob Myers is the most qualified person to replace Harrisson.
