New Lions LB Kwon Alexander has seen his career derailed by numerous injuries, but now Detroit needs him because of so many injuries of its own

First reported by ESPN's Adam Schefter, Alexander was initially signed to the Broncos’ practice squad following Week 3, which saw linebacker Alex Singleton suffer a season-ending injury. Fellow veteran linebacker Zach Cunningham was also signed at the time to the practice squad.

The 30-year-old inside linebacker has been on Denver’s practice squad after starting in two games and playing in another as a reserve this season for the Broncos.
