Kash Patel, Donald Trump’s pick to lead the FBI and an ardent supporter of the president-elect, has vowed to help dismantle the same organization he’s poised to lead.

The idea of Donald Trump and Senate Republicans putting Kash Patel in charge of the FBI isn't just wrong. It's also dangerous.

That sentiment was shared by Sen. Chris Murphy, D-Conn., who said on NBC: “Patel’s only qualification is that he agrees with Donald Trump that the Department of Justice should punish, lockup and intimidate Donald Trump’s political opponents.”
