Detectives are asking the public for help in solving the shooting death of a man on the Green Line light-rail train in St. Paul on Friday night.

Metro Transit police are investigating a shooting along the Green Line in St. Paul on Friday evening. Officers were called to University Avenue West and Hamline Avenue North around 8:30 p.m. on a report of a shooting. A 5 EYEWITNESS NEWS photographer on the scene captured police tape and several squads.

A woman was shot onboard a Green Line light rail train in St. Paul on Thursday, and police are still actively looking for the suspect. Officers responded to a report of a shooting at around 9:30 p.m. to the Green Line at the intersection of University and Western.
