Convicted sex trafficker Ghislaine Maxwell, who is seeking a pardon from President Donald Trump, told top Justice Department officials during an interview last month that she never witnessed the president “in any inappropriate setting” with young girls introduced to him by disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein.

In a courthouse interview with the deputy attorney general, Ms. Maxwell, who has been convicted of sex trafficking, maintained that President Trump and other famous figures were not involved.

Jeffrey Epstein associate Ghislaine Maxwell told the DOJ that President Trump was "a gentleman in all respects" and that she never saw him do anything inappropriate.
