The City of Ennis remains under a boil water notice on Tuesday, impacting thousands and canceling classes for Ennis ISD. It's been an ongoing issue for days due to an eight-inch water main break at the intersection of I-45 and Highway 34 on Saturday.

Ennis ISD announced that school will be canceled again Wednesday because the city remains under a days-long boil water notice.

The city said lab results Tuesday showed the water was safe. However, the water pressure dropped below safe standards. They will have to send in another sample before rescinding the boil water notice.
