The Baltimore Orioles' Double-A minor league affiliate released a statement Friday morning to announce its new name: Chesapeake Baysox. The renamed team will also get new uniforms and logos inspired by the Chesapeake Bay that will include a crab holding a baseball bat and the Maryland flag.
