After deleting the keys to Gaming Services I'd advice restarting windows and downloading the application once more. You can do this through the Xbox app, alternatively you could run the following commands through Windows Powershell (remember to run as administrator) - get-appxpackage Microsoft.GamingServices | remove-AppxPackage -allusers.
Right now, I have gaming services installed alongside the Xbox app, but the app just won't work with gaming services. It's like it refuses to connect, leaving me unable to download and play any games.
Gaming Services should install now without issue. Double check by rebooting and going back to Windows Store and trying to Get Updates again - you should be Up to date.
Just went, downloaded Hitman, but it was sitting on 0% so I restarted the app and now it won’t detect gaming services. Reinstalled, restarted, updated everything, without any luck. Gaming services and xbox app included. Probably some faulty windows update or something. I am on Windows 11. Tried dism, chkdsk, sfc scan, cleaning disk too.
Click that to get the tool, as the first option just has you opening up the Xbox app (which you can't currently do due to the gaming service not starting). Just run it as admin and let it do its thing—it might take a couple of minutes.

In order to install Gears 5 on my PC I have to install gaming services. Which I can't find by simply searching the windows store? Whatever not a big deal. So I found out, and it says I own it, but when I click install nothing happens. I can't install it. My Gears 5 download is stuck on 8.5%. Is there anything I can fucking do about this?
